You might need to update your drivers in the device manager. So But first we need to find out if its a hardware or a software issue.
I would suggest you go to the safe mode and see if the problem persists. To go to Safe mode follow the steps below:
a. Click on Windows key, and in the Power Options click on Restart while pressing the shift key.
b. A blue screen will appear with a few options.
Click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Settings > Startup Settings > Restart.
c. Your system will automatically restart, press 4 or F4 key to go to the Safe Mode.
If it works fine in the safe mode that means the issue is with the hardware.
Please reply with the results.

I already solve the problem uninstalling the ASUS Smart Gesture that doesn’t works either and reinstalling it, you can find the Windows 10 version in the next link:
just select the model of processor and the OS version, and download the app.

I have tried both of the above solutions and neither are working for me on my Asus TP550L
Edit:- I found that rotation lock was enabled by default for windows 10. I clicked on my notification icon at the bottom left of my screen ( next to the time and date ) and set rotation lock to off. Everything working perfect now.

It seems that different methods are working on different models. I’m not sure what works for who but I was able to get both my Smart Gesture and Fliplock to resume working by using the following method.
First, I went to Control Panel and uninstalled Asus Smart Gesture, Asus Fliplock and ATK Package drivers. This then required a restart of the computer.
After the restart, I went and found the latest version of the three drivers mentioned above at: http://support.asus.com/ (Note: The latest driver version could still be under Windows 8.1 as Fliplock was for me). After installing these three drivers, another restart is required.
Finally, after the second restart, I opened Control Panel once again. For each of the three drivers, I selected them and clicked repair. After I did that, I restarted my computer just to be safe and everything was working!
Hopefully this method works for you, if not I suggest continuing to go through forums and try the safe looking solutions until you find one, Asus/Microsoft gives us a solution, or you just give up!
Asus flip lock does not work after upgrading to windows 10
Since upgrading to windows to my flip lock does not work on my ASUS TP-500L. When I flip my laptop over to tablet mode it does not disengage the keyboard. I called ASUS support and they said it is something within Windows 10 and I need to check to see if there is a driver to fix this or go back to Windows 8.1.
Is anyone else having this problem with their 2 in 1 laptops

This worked for me:
Go to http://support.asus.com and find the most recent version of the ATK Package for your laptop as well as ASUS Smart Gesture. When you have to select your operating system it might not list Windows 10, in that case just use the most recent version under Windows 7 or 8. Look for the drop down for ATK and TouchPad (See picture). Download these two files to your computer by clicking Global (DLM). After they are both downloaded go to your control panel and uninstall the ATK Package and ASUS Smart Gesture then reboot your computer. Once your computer is rebooted install the ATK Package first and then the ASUS Smart Gesture/TouchPad drivers that you downloaded. Once both have been installed reboot again and you should be good to go!

Asus fliplock не работает windows 10

Question
To preface this I bought this laptop new 2 weeks ago. Out of box it worked fine till I ran Windows Update and now when I switch to Tablet mode the keyboard/mouse won’t shut off and it won’t switch to portrait mode. I’ve done a lot of reading on forums and spoken with ASUS until I was blue in the face. The problem appears to be directly related to Windows 10, driver HID Sensor Collection V2, and the November 1511 Windows 10 Update.
Note that I got the 1511 information from reading online. I couldn’t tell you which update caused my issues because there were so many.
Now for a more detailed run down of everything.
— Win 10 Home, nothing special setup on it. Office 2016, Firefox, Libre Office are the only things I’ve installed on it. My plan is to use this as a laptop for home inspections and tablet mode would be nice for walk through of homes.
— When I convert the laptop from laptop to tablet the keyboard won’t disable and the screen won’t switch to portrait mode. The button for portrait/landscape mode options is greyed out. If I shut off the ASUS Flip Service the Win 10 tablet features will allow portrait mode to no longer be greyed and portrait mode will work but the keyboard and mouse are still active.
— I have updated every driver and BIOS update I can find on the ASUS website. I believe everything to be as up to date as possible.
— After my talks with ASUS support if I uninstall the HID Sensor Collection V2 driver and reboot it will work properly for about 10 minutes and then stop working again. It works long enough for ASUS support to get you off the phone.
— ASUS support was beyond incompetent. When I tried to give them information about driver versions, steps I’ve taken to troubleshoot, or anything else they ignore me. Most of the techs tell me to do something generic like «Open device manager and remove the drivers». If there’s a better support for ASUS I would love to know.
— After everything I’ve read through I believe the issue is on the Windows 10 side. I have to be missing something. Maybe a patch from MS? A driver upgrade I’m not seeing? Someone has to have fixed this for as wide spread as this issue seems to be.
— I had a hard time finding a hybrid that fit my needs for this price. If I have too I’m thinking about manually disabling the keyboard/mouse drivers from Device Manager to make this work. This is not my preferred option and I would really like to get this working correctly.
Any help is greatly appreciated. If you need anymore information please let me know. Thank you in advance.
